I started this blog because my friends told me stop emailing it to them. The name is from one of my father's phrases: he was a cynic. He gave his son and his bird dogs German names because German names can be heard at greater distances....

A Dog named Bo...
President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama have been clear about wanting their daughters, Sasha, 7, and Malia, 10, to take responsibility for Bo, the family's new Portuguese Water Dog.
