When you want the job done right, pull out the IRS.

from The Wall Street Journal- IRS will Sort Out AIG...
Some of the same banks that got government-funded payouts to settle contracts with AIG also turned to the insurer for help cutting their income taxes in the U.S. and Europe.
The IRS is challenging some of the tax deals structured by AIG Financial Products Corp., the same unit of the New York company that has caused political ire over $165 million in employee bonuses.

FD: Hey, Folks.

Obama is new. He had not noticed that button on his desk phone labeled "IRS" that so many other Presidents have used in the pass...

BUSH TURNS THE IRS ON DRUNVALO AND THE SPIRIT OF MA'AT EZINE

On January 1st we published the article «Palm Trees Never Lie» and on January 20th, 2004, only 19 days later, the IRS sent a letter saying they were going to audit every single business endeavor in which I am involved. They say that I "may" be involved in tax evasion. Not only me personally, but any business structure, partnership, corporation, trust or foundation that I am involved in, including the Spirit of Ma'at magazine, of course, which was the first and primary business to be focused on by the IRS.This is illegal and a complete misuse of the Presidential Office. There are court cases to prove that using the IRS to stop an American from exercising their 1st Amendment right of freedom of speech is illegal and actually criminal and against the Constitution of the United States of America. This is a similar kind of thing (but not using the IRS) that Bush's administration did to former Ambassador Joseph C. Wilson's wife Valerie Plame. Plame was reportedly a CIA agent working in the clandestine Directorate of Operations on weapons of mass destruction issues. It is thought that exposing Mr. Wilson's wife was a "shot across the bow" warning Wilson because he was getting too close to some sensitive and embarrassing information concerning 9-11. This exposure is still being investigated.Bush did the same thing to Michael Moore by utilizing the IRS. Disney acknowledged this IRS threat publicly on national television. You can read what Michael Moore has to say by going to his http://www.michaelmoore.com/words/index.php?id=24In actual fact, according to US law, it is criminal for Bush to do this. The government can use the IRS to check accounting or if there is misuse of money, drug money laundering, embezzlement, etc., but no government office, including the office of the President, can use the IRS to stop a Citizen of the United States' 1st Amendment right to freedom of speech. It is illegal and against the US Constitution and a misuse of presidential powers. ...
