The lady who was there threw some plastic chairs at the snake, but you’ve got to remember that this is about 50 kilograms (110 pounds) of aggressive muscle. A zoo was called, but they decided not to remove the half-swallowed dog, which might have harmed or even killed the python. The snake was still digesting the dog at the zoo later that week.
These pythons grow bigger. Here is one that was trapped in a fence on a sheep farm.
