Obama's Experience Being White a Concern

Willmington VA - Barrack Obama's recent slide in the polls to Senator McCain has been attributed to the ugly fact that voters are just now noticing that he is not white.

The trend has been slow to emerge. At first voters polled stated they were concerned with Obama's lack of experience and ability to perform in office. A University of Virginia poll has probed deeper. Voters were asked which candidate could figure out how to send a man to the moon using an electric pencil sharpener, a couple of flashlight batteries and a roll of speaker wire from Radio Shack.52% voted Obama and 38% voted McCain. 10% were undecided. Some voters wrote in that McCain could do it if he asked Obama.

The second question on the poll asked what candidate has the most experience being white. This time the results were 52% in favour of McCain and 38% Obama.10% of voters were undecided.

Delbert Smits, spokesman for the University polls explained. "So far voters do not appear to have noticed that he was not white. He is kind of like Will Smith that way."

"Our polls don't ask how long he has been black but his lack of experience being white is a definite concern."

"Voters think McCain has been white a lot longer, possibly since birth."
